These General Terms and Conditions apply to any software purchased on the website aimy-extensions.com.
Within these Terms and Conditions “software” means any extension whether plugin, module, component or other. Aimy Extensions are provided by Lingua-Systems Software GmbH, Gerichtsstrasse 42, 44649 Herne, Germany - in the following “Aimy Extensions”.
The software itself is covered by the GNU General Public License 2.0 (GPL v2.0). All translations are covered by the Creative Common Public Domain Dedication License 1.0. Please refer to the respective license terms for details.
For the operation of the software other software is necessary (e.g. Joomla! content management system). Aimy Extensions does not provide any third party software.
Any customer’s own terms that may exist are hereby rejected and thus not part of the contract.
Any PRO version comes with a set of features not present in the regular version of the software. These features are listed in detail in the software’s description.
Although we try hard to support any customer setup, it may be that there are setups our software is not compatible with. If this appears to be true for your setup, Aimy Extensions will investigate what causes the compatibility issue and try to solve it. If this shall not succeed within three (3) attempts, Aimy Extensions will repay the purchase price.
The update service includes software updates for one (1) software and one (1) domain for one (1) year, e.g. “Aimy Sitemap PRO on example.com”. The domain is specified during the ordering process. The one year (1) period starts when customer downloads the software using the one-time link.
A larger amount of domains can be bought at once in our shop. In this case the bought amount of domains will get access to our update service.
When the software support has expired you may still use the software according to the GPL v2.0, but you will no longer receive updates.
In case of a renewal the update service includes software updates for one (1) software and one (1) domain for fifteen (15) months. A renewal is an order of the update service for a domain that already had updates before for that software. The domain will be detected automatically during the order process.
Joomla! Update System
Aimy Extensions' update server interacts with Joomla!’s extension update system so that you will be notified in your backend whenever an update for the version of our software you use is available. You can then easily install it using the common update procedures provided by Joomla!. No additional manual download will be provided.
Please note that Aimy Extensions cannot guarantee its update servers to be available without interruption. There may be certain periods of downtime that are i.e. caused by server maintenance or hardware errors.
Customers that bought a PRO version will be treated with priority for support tickets.
Aimy Extensions' support team is usually available on working days from Monday to Friday during our regular business hours (08:00 to 16:00, CEST).
Unless agreed upon otherwise, Aimy Extensions provides support by email only.
Usually, support is given free of charge, this is especially the case when the support ticket is related to a defect in the software itself. Should a reported and worked upon issue be caused by the customer, i.e. by his server setup, support may be charged. However, customer will be notified in advance in this case and can decide whether to make use of the extended support service or not.
Order, Payment and Delivery
Aimy Extensions' online shop allows you to purchase software.
Prices given within the online shop are final prices including VAT.
The payment is due before delivery.
After the payment is fulfilled the given domain will get access to the update service and the software’s current version will be provided via an one-time download link that you will receive via email.
Software and manual are provided in digital form only.
An invoice will be provided via email only.
Delivery of our services is only possible to customers that are located in the European Union.
Detailed Order Process
- Place the software of your choice in your shopping cart by clicking the “Buy PRO” button on the software’s page.
- Go to your shopping cart. You will be automatically redirected there after clicking a “Buy PRO” button. You can visit your shopping cart at any time by clicking the “View Cart” link.
- Review your cart carefully and click on the “Proceed to Checkout” button.
- Enter your personal data for billing purposes, choose a payment method and read and accept our General Terms and Conditions & Withdrawal.
- To change your entered data, click on the “Change” link present on each data set’s heading or use the “Back” button of your webbrowser to change the set of software to buy.
- Review your order summary and click the “Buy now” button to bindingly order the selected software.
- Aimy Extensions accepts your order by confirming your order by email.
Limitation of Liability
Aimy Extensions shall be fully liable for willful intent or injury to life, body or health or in case of gross negligence.
In case of other damages caused negligently, however, Aimy Extensions' liability shall be limited to any reasonably foreseeable damage. Any other liability of Aimy Extensions shall be excluded.
Customer is obliged to backup his data within regular backup cycles and according to professional standards. Aimy Extensions is not responsible for loss of data if customer has not made appropriate, regular backups of his data according to professional standards.
For all of Aimy Extensions' business customers, exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes from or in connection with this agreement shall be Herne, Germany.
This agreement shall be governed solely by material German Law excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
